I have always strived for a great lifestyle and the people I aspire to be like are not people earning lots 'living' in London, going for drinks with the girls and the odd med holiday.I put 'living ' in brackets because in my book, thats not living. I want to keep a warm home with a small family , Loki and Dave and I don't strive for a career .I don't want to be 31 and be working 8-6pm , then going to the gym and getting home in the dark.I plan to live a beach life.I hope to be able to take the kids to the beach after school ,and on weekends for us all to go to the grandparents for a roast.
It may seem like I'm turning my back on feminism , but I've realised where my satisfaction comes from and I don't want to apoligize for it being in Cornwall.
I am proud of wanting to live somewhere where people know my name , where my family are and where there is a real sense of community.I can't think of anything worse than forcing myself to spend 3 years living in a city earning money just to feel like I've achieved something. I don't aspire to those people and I think its high time people start to value lifestyle a little more.
There are many Brits going to live in Australia for a 'better lifestyle' .Fancy moving so far away from your family , from your identity , to achieve what Cornwall has to offer everyday , with the culture capital of London just on your doorstep if you really must get that city fix...BIZARRE!

absolutely love your honesty and i totally agree. I have to admit i wouldn't mind tasting the 9-5 life just to say i've been there and then stick 2 fingers up at it. Ideally i want to be doing what i love with the people i love.
