Christmas means la familie!
My husband and I absolutely ADORE christmas. This is an understatement.Christmas is our favourite time of year , firstly because we are very family orientated and this time of year allows us to be even more so.Christmas is also an optimistic season , and we are most certainly positive , optimistic people.
I have spent Christmases abroad and they are simply not the same! Thailand and Australia have NOTHING on spending Christmas in the UK with a crackling fire and a frosty beach walk.
Christmas for me is LOVE ACTUALLY. Unapologetically British , sentimental and unique.
I cannot wait , and we have already decorated our home to the tunes of mariah and george. We have wrapped probably a third of our presents and placed them under the tree , which looks divine!
I am at the age where it feels like christmas is more for the 'kids' and , not that the magic has worn off , but maybe that I will experience an entirely different kind of Christmas once we have our own family. This is even more exciting , I am sure we will go totally over the top then !
I must go turn on the fairy lights!

Jewellery class
I pretty much adore jewellery. My interest I think is in my blood. My grandad polished diamonds and pretty much the whole one half side of my family works at the London Assay office.
This isn't to say that I have a natural talent for creating my own wares. I have recently joined a silver and copper making jewellery class along with my friend. We absolutely LOVE it , but it is a lot trickier than I could have anticipated.I am hoping my passion gets my through!!
I am inspired to keep going and trying new things when I visit PIPPA SMALL's website. The lady is amazing in my eyes,I love what she stands for and I love all her designs.I want to grow up to be Pippa Small.
